Wednesday, September 12, 2018

On Tuesday, the motorsports community paid tribute to Don Panoz, who passed away at the age of 83.

A very sad day for me and @IMSA . I had the pleasure and honor of working with Don Panoz for nearly 15 years. Visionary. Entrepreneur. Friend. Too many stories to tell. He ran on the rev limiter right up to the end. RIP DEP. pic.twitter.com/wfYaM2MbeB

"Here's $100, if you wreck my race car, it'll be enough to get you to the airport so you don't have to show your face around here." There was never a dull moment with you Dr.P. You always kept us on our toes and I'll be sure to put the extra twist of orange on my next Jameson. pic.twitter.com/VU4vnoJn8O
